For an elective course? My friend got a B - in a sociology class which was her elective, even though she has a straight A+ GPA in her biochemistry major. I told her the truth even though it made her cry, that most people wouldn't trust a doctor and would doubt their ability if they found out they got a B - in one of their classes. I told her she can't be a doctor and she will have to look for another career.
Was I too harsh? Be honest, would you trust a doctor who got a B - in of their college elective classes?
