[POLL] Whats the best Horror film?

I have been having a few discussions with a few of my frienRAB and we have been trying to decide on the favourite horror movie of all time, I decided to make this poll and just get a general consensus on what the best horror film.

I voted The Exorcist

When Merin goes into the house for the first time and Karas tells him about all the different demons ... and Merin answers, "There's only one" ... it's seriously scarey

Actually I have a marginal preference for the sequel...but I voted 'Alien' from that selection.

Oo quite a few classics there but I went for The Omen, creepy film.

The Host, and Alien are not full on horror for me compared to the rest in that list so didn't class those in the poll. Still love the two films though.

I went for the Omen, the Host I thought was more of a comedy then horror.
There's many Asian horror films i've watched over the past that would easily beat that list.

Out of that I voted Ringu, because it is quite creepy, although it depenRAB on my mood, and the ambience at the time for scares. I like all of those films.
