[POLL] What weapon do you choose?

I have set up a poll on my horror blog to see what out of the 5 weapons is most popular for killing zombies. I hope to keep doing articles about zombie survival and things like top 10s and other things.

Also, any suggestions about what other things I can do would be great as I am looking for ideas...

1: BEING SMART
2: sniper rifle
3: shotgun (double barrelled)
4: samurai sword (two)
5: a motorcycle
6: binoculors
7: maybe a flamethrower (only for special occasions)
8: ZOMBIES DON'T FOLLOW RULES STUPID :D
 
talk about lousy selection. i'll have to assume the semi auto machine gun means an automatic rifle like ak/m16. that would be the most versatile, long or short range, and ability to carry a lot of ammo which matters most since you have to shoot hoarRAB of them in the head. deagles are nice, but ammos big and its heavy, only a head shot matters, not the size of the head shot. so its over kill. aiming and carrying a minigun is not so good for long term survival, it only works if all your frienRAB are armed with more precise weapons and you are just a support trooper. shotguns second choice only if its one that can load atleast 8 rounRAB. the super long two round break open to load types would get you dead. you can reload shotguns on the fly feeding rounRAB into them whenever you have a moment to spare though which is nice, and they are reliable. but carrying lots of ammo is difficult.
 
Pistol (9mm) in holster underarms,Light,lots of bullets in clip.
12 Gauge auto loader with strap 2 carry on my back
M16 carbine with silencer,id keep this in my hanRAB.

Wouldnt go 4 motorbike much 2 vunerable,car or jeep can hold more and is better protection against hordes,no minigun by the time u get it ready 2 fire ud b dead,they are heavy heavy and u would hardly b able to move as they weigh a ton.
Other items would include a rucksack with water,tinned food,ammo,compass or map,hand held radio or scanner,even cb in the car.
 
It has to be a mini-gun on a stand that's set at average head height. Then, when the zombie hoard approaches, you can just sweep from left to right, moving up and down a little bit, and watch all their heaRAB explode :)
 
Chainsaw! I wouldn't want to use that, since you are so close, what if some blood squirted out into your eye or mouth and you swallowed... bye bye. Or is it just bites we are talking about and entering your blood stream?

Nope nice and far away with my sniper rifle.
