POLL: What steps do you take to help make sure you DESTROY the gym every time you go?

We've all had those lame workouts where you're like tired or whatever and you get done and felt like your time would have been better spent at home. Then we have those OK workouts, then you have the EPIC workouts where you're done and you feel like you're gonna die but at the same time still feel totally awesome and your muscles have are kind of tense and sore but somehow loose and relaxed at the same time. What do you do to make sure your workouts are more like that last one.

Personally I try to make sure I don't skip meals, get plenty of sleep, make sure I have good music to take with me, and it helps me to like psych myself up beforehand too like "hell yea I'm gonna destroy the gym today!" and when I'm doing a set and it starts to hurt I think to myself "YES I love the pain give me more! more pain! just.... one.... more.... rep.....!!!" You know, things like that. Also I find I can have more intense workouts if a drink a bit of coffee beforehand.
