POLL: What restaurants are perfect for females who want to dine alone?

What restaurant(s) would be perfect to choose without having the restaurant staff being grumpy?

When I was going on dental school interviews, I ate alone at restaurants at least 20 times, including several times in NYC, and the staff were never grumpy with me. I ate everywhere from a diner to a pizza place to fast food to frozen yogurt to a bagel shop to ihop, and everyone was perfectly nice. I'd just recommend bringing a newspaper or something else to read so she's not just sitting there.
