Pre-teens and teenagers who try to act and dress more like adults?
I, a high school student, was going home from my band concert at school when a saw a bunch of middle school girls exiting a mere dance party as if they'd gone clubbing. These girls had their faces caked with makeup and were wearing expensive dresses (even though the dance was informal). I even saw some of them wearing STILETTOS. Few of them actually had a boyfriend and was holding hands with them while most of them were complaining about not actually having a boyfriend.
This kind of... scares the hell out of me... I've never had a boyfriend. Not because no one has ever liked me, but because I only want to go out when I truly come to love someone. Trust me, I really do want a boyfriend, but I'm waiting for the right guy. Not only that, but my friends and I never acted like this when we were in middle school....
What do you guys think?
