Won the Pulitzer in 2001, I believe. I heard people dub him as the "best of the nineties and twenty-first."
I haven't read his work, so, of course, that's the reason I'm asking. If you don't think so, tell who's best of the decade. There have been many great writers making their literary splash. Give the reason for who you chose, too.
