POLL: is it wrong for a woman to have to cook her partner dinner every day?

well you wife may be one of the few woman today that still takes time and cook for her family.I mean so many woman are so busy with work soccer games,taking a lil time for herself an they just cook 5 min meals or take out food so i think you should not gloat on the fact that your wife is one one the few who cooks every night please be grateful. AND yes if your wife wants you to help out than please do so it's very positive an a family thing to do these days we seem not to have that anymore. {MY BEST WISHES TO YOU AN YOUR FAMILY}

It depends on how your asking the question... Is it wrong for a women to HAVE TO cook for her partner EVERYday -- Yes, she shouldn't have to do nothing she really doesn't want to do, you two are married and are suppose to work together.
Is it wrong for a women to cook for her husban everyday-- No it's not. If she's willing to do it and it's fine with her, then Hey! Your lucky, you should thank her and make her feel special because most dont have it lucky like you.

Yes, tell you you need a break every now and than, but some men can't cook

It's wrong if the woman obviously does not enjoy cooking. It's great if that's her hobby and inspiration!
Men should help out only if they have a good attitude about it...and yes you have hit the jackpot big time lucky fellow...because my future husband will have to cook and clean with me.

that is quite a jackpot. Its probably the way she was raised. Yes you should cook dinner too. not just once a month either lol. Once or twice a week maybe...... only if your food is good though lol

Depends on the arrangement. If the woman always cooks, I suspect the man would have to be the one who makes sure that something else is always done. What that something else is, is up for debate. For instance, you could be the one who takes out the trash and mows the law, she might agree to that.

you should help her once in a while
letting women cook and clean is so stereotypical

Jackpot, indeed!

It's the same thing at my house: I do all the cooking and kitchen duties. However, that's because I much prefer it that way; I'm confident in the kitchen, whereas his idea of getting dinner is to take a couple of cold hot dogs out of the meat drawer and eat them in front of the TV (he actually did this before we were married).

Before anyone mistakes me for a slave to sexism, consider this: I'm totally in charge of the kitchen, from what is served to what kinds of cooking tools are needed. No one would dream of telling me what to do or how to do it, and no one tries to tell me a "better way" to do anything (e.g., "Why don't you just throw the wooden spoons in the dishwasher?"). And, all here are happy with the results.

If you're doing the dishes, then your wife has hit the jackpot!
