Where I work we currently work a 6 day on, 3 day off rotation. But some feel we should move to a 4 day on, 2 day off rotation.
The average hours on each paycheck is the exact same either way, but is a bit more consistent on the 4-2. Otherwise, the trade off is pretty obvious; a shorter weekend for a shorter work week. I like having 3 days off in a row but it would also be nice to only have to work a 4 day stretch.
So which schedule would you prefer?
It would be 8 hour days either way.
