YES. Hell yes! I live in Vancouver, BC and we're surrounded by trees and the outdoors here, even in the city. Not only have I grown accustom to it, but I need it to feel..."right"? And where else am I going to get my peace and quiet, away from the stressful, constantly rushing city or the problems of life (and sometimes from the PEOPLE. What? They're stressful sometimes, too) It's one of the only places I can go to think clearly and see some truly breath-taking panoramic views that are worth the hours of hiking. Hiking itself is also very enjoyable, of course, it's calming but challenging at the same time and the scenery gives me a sense of freedom and peace. I'm just going to stop myself here before rant anymore and I think you've got the picture already.
By the way, maybe you already know this, but just because someone is homosexual doesn't mean that their other preferences are affected, too. =]
