Poll: do you think there will be a modern civil war?

Ever since 2000, there has been a lot of tension between the two major parties, simply because the one side swears the other side stole the election.

9/11 temporarily made us lay our hatchets down, but as that wound was forgotten, and yes most have forgotten it, the pain from the original wound resurfaced.

I'm afraid that even if something more tragic than 9/11 happened, we have become too hardened to let go our offenses; we will not compromise with our counterparts any more. It's my way, or the high way!

So, yes I'm concerned that in the near future, say the next 10 years, we will see the same kind of violence we see in third world countries and we sill have the same kind of government crack downs like we see in third world countries.

I pray I'm wrong. I pray that Americans stop and think about what they're doing and where we're heading.
 
Pretty self explanitory, do yoou think there will be a civil war? will it be a peacfull one with just words or will it be violent?
Thanks people i also think it is going on now, but we cant know cuz of goverment censoring
 
Conservatives would lose.

Cause we would have the military on our side.

You know, since it's an evil government program.
 
If the neocon pundits have their way there will be and it will be violent. Look at how many are being told to buy guns and ammo and be sure to take their weapons with them to the meetings they attend.

You look at the groups behind all these events, almost every single one of them is calling for the overthrow of the democratically elected government. And, to rile them up they come up with the Obama isn't a legally elected president, because he isn't a citizen of this country, the certified copy of his birth is false. The election was rigged, and they have proof of it. And, yes, there is the racist view, they have to prove that a black man cannot handle the job.

One thing that these people don't seem to understand. They claim that Obama is a socialist, communist, marxist, etc. You talk to a neocon and they will tell you that they want the democratic party, independents and others completely gone. They want only the Republicans ruling this country. That becomes a one-party government. Do you know what a one party government is called? It not a democracy or a republic. It's called communism.

So, these neocons want the very government which they claim to abhor.
 
I think violence will start soon, fanned by the hate of conservative radio and fixed news. The right wants to go back to the 18th century. With slavery, of course.
