I'm trying to have a conversation with one in the politics section, but after insulting me, it has gone quiet. Please, this is for documentary research. Do internet trolls have a shell? What other physical attributes do they have?
Bonus question: Why do we punish people that seek knowledge by docking them 5 points each time?

I'm not sure about the shell, but I think they all have really thin skin. When I have called them out, they can't handle it, and usually shout profanities. And then they disappear.

Concerning the bonus question: I don't understand Yahoo's reasoning on that either. Perhaps it's to prevent trolls, but then points are the last thing they care about. I know that if I have a question, I search for it first on Y!A. I have found plenty of helpful answers without having to post a question.
