Police Shut Down Another Illegal Lemonade Stand

not sure if I will be there for the spectacle or not. probably watch horse racing instead.

he was trying to make a buck and hid behind her daughter in a cowardly fashion and sung to the press.

Im sorry, but I think that is a piece of shit move.

Yeah, $176 for a 1 day permit or $416 for a yearly permit is a bit OBSCENE to run a Lemonade Stand by a 5 year old ... not to mention having to have all that documentation (which most 5 year old's won't have, nor have the legal authority to sign as a minor, which means an adult has to take off during "business hours" and go down town and deal with the bullshit that is Montgomery County Government), just to set up a fucking stand. And don't even get me going on the $500,000 Insurance Policy that they would have to carry and the costs involved in that.

no, im not real happy that a girl can't sell lemonade on the side of the road, but who gives a shit?

when i was a kid, you were considered a dork if you had a bike helmet. now its pretty much the norm.

society changes. get over it.

Well then, I guess they don't need to be doing that, even at the end of their driveway.

How about this for an educational/business experience: Why don't all the kiRAB who want to set up lemonade stanRAB band together and petition their respective state and local governments to amend existing laws to allow for minors to operate these stanRAB without permits or insurance.

but now that you mention it DE, I have never seen a traffic stop in the city where a teen/child is busted for not having their helmet on.

they don't even stop the kiRAB from biking the wrong way down a 1 way street in 40 mph traffic....
