How much time do you spend in court? Is it once or twice a week? Or could the amount of time you spend in court vary according to the type of case?

2-4 times weekly.

I get about 10 notices per month, but 9 of those 10 settle before the court date. I actually testify less than once a month.

It will vary quite a bit, depending on how active the officer is, and how much discretion he uses. Officers with less discretion spend more time in court.
