thought that police bikes would be? a good buy because they should be strong for everyday use both on and off road use, for casual rides but when needed tough for extreme rides, kinda like a police car but a bicycle. what bicycle should i be looking at buying? if needed, i well be using it in vancouver bc (like san Fransisco but canadian).
I am trying to find a good around the city bike that i can also take on an open highway trip at the same time take me down some logging road as well as dirt trails. i do not plain on using it for any extrem down hill riding or extrem off the beaten path riding. if i had to compare it to another sport, i would say cross country skying, a good all around bike. and by the way, thanks for the answers.
oh, and another reason why i have choosen a police bike is because some of the cops i have seen riding bikes are realy good sized guys (tall and muscled; rcmp type).
