Police Bike Overheated

Holy cow! I have that bike and it's good to know they are pretty rugged. No way I could personally last that long. Good for you for making it.
 
They are air cooled, air cooled, no air no cooling. First start up mine idles while I put on my helmet and gloves, what, 3 min. idle out to the main rd. block and half. Stuck for awhile in traffic I turn it off. Just me.

Eh, just last week I saw one that had idled in a parking lot for about an hour. The guy started it and went in a building and got carried away in a B.S. session. I went and saw the bike idling realizing what had happened. It didn't seem to hurt it. I saw him ride off on it this morning.....Of course, I don't recommend such treatment.
