Steve Guttenberg was on ITV London tonight this evening and he has confirmed that Police Academy 8 will be made next year and Steve Guttenberg also confirmed he will direct the film.
 
Yay! Love the Police Academy films!

Well, I loved the first one.

When I was ten.

But I'm sure it'll be good. Steve Guttenberg's career has maintained a strong momentum over the years.
 
If it was cold, I would imagine his momentum was pretty strong, athough the size of his career would likely have been shrinking ;)
 
Steve Guttenberg used to be so cute in the 80s. It's sad this seems to be the only work he can get?
 
We really don't need any more Police Academy movies do we;there are 6 movies too many.Would not work as a remake either,or as a belated sequel.

If Steve wants a career revival then why not make another Short Circuit movie.Inoffensive and a sure fire box office success,if marketed correctly.

It's kinda sad that he is so washed up, he was in a film with Jessica Simpson! :cry:

I was just checking out IMDB and he is also reviving 3 Men and a Baby, I can smell his desperation through my computer :( . I am surprised Ted Danson has agreed to it, considering how great his career has been going recently.
 
Tragic to find out the Jessica Simpson thing. Steve was in some of the most successful movies of the 80s. Why has his career bombed like this?

I just posted a thread about the Three Men sequel. I really am shocked at that one. It seems so random to do it after so long, and I agree it's really strange that Ted Danson would want anything to do with it. His career is probably the most respectable of the original Three Men cast these days.
