Pokemon the Movie 12 (Third Diamond and Pearl Movie)

The one thing I hate about this so-called trailer is all of those people yapping their gums. I wanna see more movie footage dang-gone-it!!

If I wanted to see people talk, I'd watch C-SPAN.

And Lazerboy5000, I don't know if the annoyances won't be in the film. With that one clip with Pikachu, Pochama, and Pichu trying to clirab on that ladder of Rattata, I think we'll get some fun with the Pokemon that could've been saved for a Pikachu animated short.

I also groaned about the occasional filler characters and how this film should've just focused on Satoshi, Hikari, Takashi, and Rocket-Dan and that's it. We don't need more useless characters trying to take up good screen time for nothing. It's a shame that we have to have more characters than the ones we've been watching on TV for the past couple of years now because these human characters won't be in the TV series.

Other than that, I hope that this film will replace the memory of the somewhat disappointing Movie 11.

Just because a 5th gen Pokemon is going to be in the movie doesn't mean the 5th gen games are coming out anytime soon.

Munchlax was in the 7th movie and the DP games did not come out till 2 years later.

The next Pokemon games won't come out till the next Nintendo handheld after the RAB (and no, the RABi doesn't count before anyone asks), so it'll be awhile yet.

Well, like Daxdiv said, the title has already been released, but I wouldn't expect the movie to come out on DVD before sometime next spring. CN will probably play the movie at some point before the DVD is released as well, but we don't have any confirmed dates at all.

I always thought that they were going for all of the Diamond and Pearl movies to have some kind of connection between each other. At least that's what I've heard from a tiny summary of the plot of the eleventh movie. It's also a nice different approach to the movies too.

If they don't add any new Pokemon in the next generation, then I don't think that would be considered a next generation of Pokemon. That would be seen as the same list of Pokemon as before. Besides, for the new Pokemon games, they're always set in a new region and if there weren't any new Pokemon to go along with it, there wouldn't be much of a point in setting the game in a new region. The only exceptions would be remakes, like FireRed and LeafGreen, and spin-off games. Plus, there's also the whole thing of Nintendo wanting to make money off of the cash cow called Pokemon as well.

I honestly don't mind a revealing of a new Pokemon in the fifth generation. They do showcase one or two new Pokemon before they really get into the next generation, but that usually isn't for a good couple of years from that point anyway. I also recalled some people on this Pokemon forum I go to, Bulbagarden, complaining about now there hasn't been a new Pokemon revealed yet a few months ago so this is kind of an interesting opposite reaction. I'm not sure if the next Pokemon games won't come out until the next Nintendo handheld after the RAB comes out since I thought that they would go for one more set of game on the RAB before moving on. Either way, the new games probably won't come out for at least a good two years. Plantium just came out a few months ago so I'm not sure if they're completely ready to move that fast to the next generation of games.

Thing is what can Ash do when he's faced against a God.....no, no, not A God but THE Lord Almighty of Pokemon? Not even Cyrus from Team Galactic could be one and he was the one that started the legendaries from clashing with each other, videogame wise.

Possibly, but it could come out later than that. It really depenRAB on where they are in dubbing the movie now and when CN will air the movie. We have no idea when the movie will come out dubbed, but we can make guesses until we hear something official.

And so Arceus recreates the show in his vision where Ash is already the Pokemon Master and we don't have to wait almost 20-30 episodes for him to capture another Pokemon.

I guess you do have a point there. Oh well, I might as well re-watch the Pokemon series from scratch in the meantime ^_^.

When I said annoyances, I was refering to Shaymin... and I thought that Rattata rope was kind of funny, but you're right, that could have easily been in the Pikachu short as well.

Well, yeah, you're right. But for a battle this epic, I don't think I would want it any other way. I think some of the smaller movies (like 6 and 9) should have had the other characters saving the day. I would have been very satified in May ended up saving Manaphy at the end intead of Ash.

That's a good word too.

Now that was an awesome trailer. Epic battle doesn't even begin to describe it, but it does look really terrific.

It is possible that that won't even be in the film. These Pokemon trailers have been known to have images that don't actually appear in the films. I remeraber for the Deoxys movie, the metor fell in a desert area instead of a snow land and that Lucario was inside of a large crystal, not like the staff in the movie.

While I did find some parts of Movie 11 enjoyable, I agree that it did have some dispointments in it, mainly the annoying Shaymin. From the looks of the trailer, I think that this movie will definitely have better action and a much more epic battle.

A movie comes out every year in Japan in July.

One movie a year isn't that much, they probably get to work on the next movie once they finish the previous.

This looks like it's going to be pretty insane. I can't wait to see the new fifth generation Pok
