Pokemon Live Action Film?

So this video is gaining quite a few hits on youtube recently.

The source of the trailer came from:

So is this real or just a very well made fan trailer?
From the email that shogungamer recieved I'd say it was just a fan trailer. If a live action Pokemon film was made then I don't think it would be that dark. Also wasn't able to find any information about it on IMDB.
 
If a live action Pokemon film was being made, you'd know about it. I'd imagine the publicity for something like that would be pretty huge and start early on in the project.

So this is obviously fan made.
 
So fake. Non-actors, lame effec, no speech or storyline hint.

The whole "leaked recording" set-up is just to hide the crapiness, and even in doing that, the fake auidence sounRAB and head in the way just makes it even more fake.
 
Until there is a definite denial from Nintendo - and they are usually pretty quick off the blocks with this sort of thing, I'm not going to say it's a fake. Not every trailer has speech (particularly teaser trailers) and someone even criticised the acting - eh? How can you tell?
 
I have no doubt a live action Pokemon film will be made in the near future - My estimate is it will arrive in the next 15 years. But the trailer you posted is fake. Like a previous poster said, if it was in development and promotional footage was being released you would definitely know.
 
live action pokemon movie = HELL YEAH
making it "gritty" = HELL NO

been saying for YEARS that a live action pokemon movie would be awesome, but in the actual pokemon world!! nintendo, i think, really missed the boat on this IMO
 
I never said it was bad acting, just the fact that anyone shown is not even a famous actor, and to be honest, looks like Joe Bloggs.

If a film like Pokemon was to be made, I'm sure there would be at least one known actor in a role.

It's so clearly a fan made film which is using this as publicity.
