Pokemon anime: How would you have Misty return?

There is no indiction of them bring Misty back for any guest appearance, and doesn't look like they will bring her back. But that is okay, we can still share ideas.

Should Misty make a guest appearance during the 4th Generation of Pokemon anime, what would the episode plots be?

I have an episode idea, it would be 3 or 4 episode arc, the Wallace Cup arc was Dawn centric, a Misty arc should be centered on Ash, and have an appearnce by Ash's current rival Paul, but one episode cenetered on Dawn is okay, and encounraged. Probably the first episode to get it out of the way.

Here is one idea, tell me what you think? Ash, Dawn, and Brock run into Misty and her sisters. Dawn becomes fast frienRAB with Misty's sisters, as she share common interests with them. Misty becomes a little jealous of their fast frienRABhip, and feels kind of out of place.

I think that would be a nice episode, a good family type episode to begin things. At the end of the episode, Misty's sister have to be somewhere else, and the rest of the arc it is just Misty with the gang. For the rest of the arc, Dawn becomes secendary character and Ash becomes the focal point, and somewhere along the line, they will bump into Paul.
 
I would bring her back as some form of a pro trainer, maybe she became famous all over the kanto region?

Maybe she turned into a villain, like have joined team rocket, and then quit when team rocket disbanded.
 
If that were to happen, I would love to see Team Rocket become a serious threat again, when was the last time we even saw one of Giovanni's plots?
 
Well, we do see meowth flasrabroadack to him in like every episode that the rocket trio are involved in..

but yeh, its like giovanni and the rest of team rocket vanished out of thin-air.
 
I like that first idea, Maybe Ash enters a tournament, and theres all this talk about an insanely powerful master trainer who you have to fight at the end, and it turns out it's... Misty! Hmmm.... "fires up Word" Fanfiction time!

I wouldn't. I like Misty and everything, but her role is done. If she came back, she'd be another Brock. Sitting around, not doing anything.

Her little cameos every now and then are fine.
 
That is what we are talking about here. None of us has mentioned her becoming a regular again.

You are right, also she is another Pokemon gym battlier like Ash, the show as evolved to a point that the cast neeRAB a coordinator, and Misty is not a coordinator. And there is no room for another female regular.

What does anyone think of my first episode idea? I think it is kind of a cute filler, I could see Dawn and Misty's sister getting along, and Misty being a little jealous.

How about if during a Misty returns arc, Paul, Reggie, and Maylene appear?

I too would love to see Misty as Region champion.
 
I'm glad that this thread is more about her making a guest appearance and not becoming a regular cast meraber again, which is what I originally thought it was. You'd be surprised how often this comes up in Pokemon forums.

As for your first idea, zoorabie, I could see Dawn and Misty's sisters getting along fairly quickly since they do kind have similar behavior/personality traits. I'm not really sure why they would go to Cerulean City again, but it would be interesting. It would be kind of interesting if there was another Water Pokemon competition and Misty showed up for that, but I don't think that will happen.

The only way I see Misty making a guest appearance in the near future would be during Ash's battles in the Sinnoh League, where she watches from a TV set in the gym, or meets up with Ash once he gets back to Pallet Town after the Sinnoh League.
 
Well what I was thinking was not Ash and company going to Cerulean City, but for Misty and her sisters be somewhere in Sinnoh and bump into Ash and frienRAB.

But a Misty / Paul meeting would be fun. Misty is just like Ash, very loving of Pokemon, but would lose her temper seeing someone treat them so cruel.
 
That makes more sense, but I'm not sure why they would be in Sinnoh, other than for some Water Pokemon related event. I never thought of Misty meeting Paul though. That does sound interesting since he would pretty much blow her off and that alone could make her angry.
 
Maybe if Misty saw Paul, maybe she already meet him, and than they can show a flasrabroadack (I guess when Ash was in Paul's home town, or in summer school, or in the Wallace Cup, etc.) Paul went to the Cerulean City gym and defeated Misty and won a badge and was his normal rude self. I think if Paul ever saw the Cerulean gym, I think he would be arogant and be very disrespectful of the surrondings calling it a pathic circus. Remeraber how mean he was to Maylee.
