Pointless- New quiz show on BBC2 (merged)

I am another pointless addict. I could only name 4 prime minister spouses, but i did get all the ab fab actresses and the roman numerals. Also i love Richard's jokes, but i do have a crush on him:o:o:o
 
I was thinking of that one at home but wouldnt have known how to say it or spell it!! Barbara looked well impressed with you.You are more educated than you thought eh eileen!!!
 
I missed the last one! Nooo!!! Hope it's on iplayer, haven't looked yet. I really liked this quirky quiz. I think it could become the new Weakest Link. I'd really like to see special editions of it, even though I'm not really a fan of celebrities but I reckon it would be a good laugh, what with the banter from Xander and Rich.
 
Or perhaps they thought it was obvious which is why they didn't say it, with some of these questions, I think that's the case, it's not that they don't know it, it's that perhaps they didn't think it would be a 'good' answer.
 
Another minor gripe: whoever goes last in each round has a big advantage because they will know whether they have to take a risk or whether they can give any answer safe in the knowledge that they can't exceed the highest score so far.
 
:D I thought that too.

I got a pointless with the Eddie Murphy films - Bowfinger. I did think it was funny the way Richard kept saying about the bad phase of his films.

Didn't get the Oscar winners though, for some reason Rod Steiger came into my head. Big red X for me.
 
I don't want to be on the show, but I wouldn't mind being one of the 100 people / 100 second types.

I s'pose they're BBC employees though, aren't they? If they exist at all, that is :)
