I would have won the jackpot on the Beyonce question - strangely, 'Work It Out' was the first song I thought of. Maybe I'm tuned into thinking of the more obscure answers.
The currency question might be name the former currencies for the countries that have adopted the Euro in which case I would go for the mighty Slovenian Tolar.
No unfortunately not- that would've been really interesting! The answers had to be sovereign states so I don't think they'd have been on the list. If they had been I expect St Pierre & Miquelon would probably have been pointless!
what i dont get is when the answers are read out he says ,for example ...."74 out of 100 people said ....."
then to the next answer "40 out of 100 people said......"
then " 26 out of a 100 people said ..."
is it one lot of 100 people or seperate lots of 100 people ?
LOL Eddie Murphy films - as seen on National Lottery: Who Dares Wins on Saturday. But no stand-up films, so Eddie Murphy Raw won't count like it did on WDW.
Does anyone know how many programmes there are in this series. Cos I'm going to be so miserable when it enRAB and gets replace by another series of Two Middle-Class Prats Buy A House. (Now those truly are Pointless television programmes.)
Not sure William III was technically correct. His wife was a Stuart monarch but he was from the House of Orange. Bit surprised the Ulster sisters were so clueless about the Stuarts given some people there are still marching about events in the late 17th century.
I enjoyed today's show. Top-level domains is a category that was made for me! Excellent final round, and a very deserving winner!
Didn't see the episode featuring Grisham novels, but I'd have done well on that, I think. Most of the subjects are things I know nothing about, but could offer reasoned guesses on. Not sure I'm good enough to go on the show though.
