Point of Sale Software

I am in desperate need of a point of sale/inventory software that I can run on my T3. I am a broker for my families winery and need to have the ease of POS software to take orders quickly. Any help would be great.

One other question. Any CHEAP place to pick up a wifi card and barcode scanner for the SD card slot?

There are no point of sale programs that I know of but many inventory programs. http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?f...DC9-1ADA213CB5B7CAFF&PartnerREF=&prodID=11340 has Easy Inventory that will interface with a barcode scanner.

I'm not aware of any SD card based barcode scanner. You might check at http://www.sc-systems.com/products/scanner/LaserChampBT.htm for a bluetooth based barcode scanner than can be used to feed data to the Palm wirelessly. This is really a better solution than an SD based scanner since you're not trying to power both your Palm and the scanner from your Palm battery and separate scanner gives you a lot more flexibility.

I saw Inner Sales Lite at PalmGear's web site. There is also a desktop version of the program which can synchronize the data from the handheld and then produce reports. There are some advanced versions of the software if you are very serious about investing in the top of the line POS system. The Palm OS and desktop software come bundled together.

I recommend you do a search at PalmGear using "sales" as your key word. There are several programs which are listed in the results. You should try the trial versions to see which one fits your needs.
