Point blank, Are the 2006-Present Chevrolet Impala's reliable?

These prices are so cheap that it makes me feel somewhat suspect on getting one. Can someone just tell me if these cars a reliable Please? And I know there are a reason for them to not retain their value.

Have a 2007 Impala with 35,000 miles. Don't have any reason to believe it won't last a very long time. Had a 2004 Impala before that and no problems with that one either. Changed vehicles after 75,000 miles.

Impala is a good car. The Malibu is "the car of the year" so they are asking more for it but the Impala has more room. I have had three Malibu's also- they are great vehicles.
