POG 4! NEWS (spoilers)

awful awful awful idea to make another

the first was great

the last 2 were dire, bloated and incoherent for the most part

jack sparrow is much better in a smaller role not the lead

im surprised johhny depp is doing this i thought he had more integrity

he would have to be a pretty stupid person not to realise how bad the last 2 were
 
I thought Dead Man's Chest was pretty good (the Kraken fights were amazing, and the swordplay, Davey Jones CGI, great cliffhanger ending etc.), only At World's End ruined everything! This 4th film just neeRAB to be more like the 1st, more adventure and fun than taking the supernatural side too far (going over to the World's End was too much). Jack should be cooler than he was in the sequels.
 
I can't believe they're actually making this after the last two. Also like someone else said, I'm surprised Depp agreed to it, hopefully he won't actually be the main character as I can't see that working at all
 
It's Pirates of Greenwich!

They're building sets at the Old Royal Naval College. Don't know if they're doing any filming there yet but it looked very interesting when I drove past earlier today. I may have to go on foot for a closer look tomorrow.

thought 2 and 3 were pretty dire, but i would welcome a forth film. really loved the first.
a second trillogy was mentioned in one source i read.
even though 2 & 3 follow their own continious story line and the first was pretty seperate. the Matrix films followed the same route - with 2&3 being huge disappointments.
it has Penelope Cruz in it, who is my future wife.....
 
Hahaha I was wondering what POG4 was!!

I enjoyed the first one! The second seemed a half hour too long and I usually love a film with Johnny Depp in it.
