Poets; where do you guys get Ideas/Concepts for poems&songs...?

how do you get out of your writers block...

anddddddd.....do you ever feel that what you've written is redundant and unoriginal... (has been written before) ? ? ?

I try to write at least one poem/song a night
but some nights my mind is completely dead like tonight

any suggestions on how to stimulate the mind...
 
I write lyrics about my life and struggles through in-depth looks at a small experience in a few words. They are almost journal-like. So, write what is depressing* you/what is happening in your life.

*Note: Mine are never happy. Not that I don't like being happy:)
