Poetry verses Science, LOL. C/C?

Poets see a star
the way a child sees a chess board, amazing and cool looking but with no sense of play.
The scientist sees plasma and eons and history; the star is a game in his wily gaze.
The poet sees romance and maybe immortality, while the scientist sees cosmological decay.
Science is the mature version of poetry, Urania being the older sister of verse's Calliope.
Poets are not hamstrung by this lack of vista, nay, for half the poets I know are scientist anyway.
