Poetry Help? Ideas for poems with the theme "New and Old"?

I'm writing a couple of poems, each with the theme new and old, or young and old..
I've written a poem about my grandad so far, but was wondering if anyone had a good idea for one with this same theme?

I was considering doing a sonnet or an ode possibly, but whatever you can think of would be great!
