poetry, all that we can't leave behind?

all that i cant leave behind
that's what hurts.
its all those silly memories,
all that chemistry i must have fabricated,
that haunts me.
terrible i know...so because i cant leave you behind
i carry a sack of misery.
terrible...because every other aspect of life moves forward
terrible... because heaven knows my heart will jump when i first see you next.
i need your hate, but you fail to give it
dont you want me to leave? disappear and never come calling?
i want your anger, but before i can get it you smile, act foolish...or speak sense, and my machinations stop there.
if only you knew that this was for your own good,
maybe then you would want to be rid of me,
as it stands i cant hate you,
all i can ever do is sigh, because care, you do, but never enough....
