Said id forget almost everything
Atleast all the bad, that leads to hurting
But it seems to be hard, it sometimes comes up
When your aching for memories, that hurt me so much
But I know its no reason to cry
You were theirs at one time, but now you are mine
Why does it hurt , when your wanting your past?
It not like they’ll ever come back
Its making it seem like I’m not enough
Why want the past you once called so rough?
Do you say you regret it to make me feel better?
But the next day your saying you miss it more then ever
How can you ache for the people you had?
And why does that make me so sad?
The friends you have now, just don’t make you proud
You think your not great, your standards went down
Said the new year, will lead to new things
No more regrets, find new meanings
But its so hard to try, when your feeling so blue
It makes me so sad, that im hurting too
I should be crying for you, for your pain
But the reasons im crying, is for your memories
I said to a friend
“it shouldn’t matter why they cry,
Or how many tears there are, just that theres hurt inside”
So call me a hypocrite, Cant follow my advice
I try so hard but the efforts stays aside
Why cant I let him reminisce all he wants?
It kills me when I think maybe my loves not enough
