Poem question about commas? Simple question?

Is there ALWAYS a comma between lines in a poem?

If there is a sentence that is broken up into two different lines, like this:

"For this is where the people come ( comma, or no??)
To die their slow and tired deaths,
blah blah blah,
There's no rest."

Like, does that make sense? Or is there ALWAYS a comma, no matter how weird it'd sound to break up the sentence? Also, what about periods? Can I put a period at the end of one line, but Coninue the stanza?

"I am wondering about this,
I might be right.
Eh, maybe not."

Thanks so much!

you can do whatever you want! poetry is about expression, not following rules. whatever you use to make your poem what it is is part of the creativity. that's what makes a good poem. why, a very famous poet named ee cummings didn't use punctuation at all! so speak from your heart and don't worry about technical stuff - you don't need commas or periods at all if you don't want them. good luck!
