so for my 11 CP English class we have to write a poem about disillusionment, which my teacher says is when you lose faith in something. This is what I have so far I'm not sure if it really fits the topic I don't know if it makes any sense or anything but can somebody just give me an honest opinion please? I compared a friend or someone leaving you to when the seasons change and summer turns to fall and winter. I have to put some more lines in between the line about the flowers and the line about the ocean but I'm stuck. Give me some tips or ideas if you have any. Thanks
how can summer turn to Fall
admit defeat and leave us all
in a world that's Cold and barely breathing
with yellow flowers turned dry and seething
and the strongest waves the Crash and Roar
are left gently lapping against the shore.
its supposed to be *that Crash and Roar
