Good Evening,

Has anyone experienced any problems with pTunes not wanting to shut off the screen on the handheld after a pre-determined time (to save on battery)?

I have installed the newest version of pTunes (3.1) and now it will not shut off my habnheld screen (as I have it set to do) after 30 seconds to save on batteries.

The only thing I can think of (besides just upgrading to version 3.1) is that I just moved to a 1G card that all my songs are on.

Has anyone else (ever) experienced this with pTunes or now any possible solutions?

I have double checked all my settings to allow this to happen on my T3.

There is a "new" update to 3.1.1 - I don't know if this is a fix for your current screen problem or not.

Also, you don't indicate if the Palm stays on while you're using Ptunes in the "cradle" or not. There is a "Preference" which says "Turn off screen while playing after - Pick your selections - the check "unless the Palm is in its cradle"

Hmm...

O.K. I wonder when they posted that. I'll have a look. Maybe there is a revision history included. I spoke with a rep. earlier today who acknowledged some sort of issue but could not elaborate. Sounded like they were still "searching".

I'll take a look.

Oh, BTW ........yeah, my preferences were all correct.
