I own this car with the 3.8 litre engine and its been a pretty good car,
Problems: intemediate shaft knocking slightly, no big deal, I live with it. Transmission pressure switch failure, causes harsh shifting at times. wheel bearing failure. Mine didnt start giving till 133K miles $200 installed. and thats about it. Minor stuff too, like a coolant leak, but that was just an o ring leaking, and even then I was at 125K miles. Its been a pretty good car.
3.4 litre engines a different story. the intake gaskets and head gaskets leak and could overheat the engine, typical of alot of GM smaller v6 engines.
