Please tell me if this is serious or not

I've had these pains in my upper arms for a couple weeks now. My left side hurts way more. If I extend my arm out with my palm facing up, it hurts right on the top just below my shoulder on the bicep area. It feels like I sleep on my arms wrong and when I wake up in the morning it's unbearable pain in those areas.

Last night and today though, my whole arm has been achy and tingly, and I've had shots of numbness go up to my fingers. I have really bad anxiety and have already had a panic attack because of it. I know that it's probably nothing serious, but I need reassurance that it's not anything that's going to harm me.

Does anyone have an explanation?
 
Of course see a doctor to rule out anything serious.... you might have a tear in your rotator cuff and/or labrum. I had both and had similar pain to what you describe.

But I would also try massage. I've had tingling in my arms and lost grip strength and such and massage took care of it. Turns out I had a few big knots in my neck that were pressing on a nerve. After a few massages - took about three weeks, one session a week, I was back to normal.
