I have been having bad sinus and allergy problems. I have horrible pressure and pain behind my eyes and forehead. I cannot think clearly nor focus. My mind feels blank, I feel spacey and strange, dizzy, and have mental confusion. I feel like I can't think past this moment. My ears feel full all the time. Is this what they call brainfog? I just feel like I am on drugs or something. I do not have any since of time and feel like my mind is in a fog. Please any support would be appreciated.

Have you tried a Neti pot? Google on where you can buy, if you cant find it at your local natural food store.

I was stationed in Southern GA for the past 3 years and my allergies had become so bad that I was dealing w/ facial swelling (upper lip, both eyes, as well as forehead). It started w/ a deep and intence itch-the kind that you cant seem to get to-and then swelling. I was looking like some one beat me up, minus the bruses and pain. It was just very itchy. Not to menion the "head-in-the-clouRAB" feeling, itchy, watery eyes, sneezing, etc.

In 2007 I recieved a sinus reconstruction and a rhinoplasty; did seem to do much, except take the "hump" of the bridge of my nose. I, pwersonally, would not advise trying this method, as my swelling only seemed to really take off AFTER I got my work done-thus causeing me to breathe better.

I now live in a drier climate it hs seemed to help. The Neti pot is used to cleanse the sinus passages by using saline salt. The first week or so, your throat will brun/itch a little but you will get used to it if you contune use. Also DO NOT swallow the salt h2o, as you could have an upset tummy.

Hope you find some relief very soon, as allergies are a real pian in the rear-end!

Good luck~

Today I went to a picnic with frienRAB and all I did was sit and stare I could not even think to talk, my thinking feels so slow. I feel like I'm in a dream .

I was on allergy injections for a nuraber of years and when I moved to a different area went to an allergist to whom I was referred. He told me that I did not need allergy injections any longer and this is after he ran some tests. However, he did not run the correct test, which is what I found out two and a half years later. My thinking was way off, my balance went nuts, my strength went and I would tire easily. I am a person who has more energy than the average Joe, but since my brain fog was soooooo bad, I could not put the two and two together to conclude that I needed the injections. Went back to my old allergist a short time ago and he picked up the paper from the allergist who had been treating me and said, "He did not run the correct test.!" Am now back on injections and am almost better. Please do me a favor and go see an allergist or things may get worse.

I second the neti pot. I've been using mine for a few weeks and it's been great. I used to have pressure and sinus headaches every day....haven't had one in about ten days. Give it a try. It's a weird feeling at first, but you get used to it.
