please solve a debate...?

My husband, whom i have been married to for 7 months and with for almost three years and I have a debate going. I have my tubes tied so this isnt an issue but he claims that hes sterile because he had A LOT of xrays before i met him and says hes sterile. Theres no way to proove it because again, I am fixed. Is is possible for radiation from xrays cause permanent sterility?

No stupid comments please. Solve this debate.
