I'm writing a book for my friend who passed away in 2007. I changed it around (added a murder scene and him with a girlfriend and romance and everything) but i kept him as a character and everything. So what do you think of this as a book? (I'm not the greatest at writing summaries but I think this one is better):
Erin Sanders was a preppy, sweet, and popular girl. She had a life; a best friend, Leah, a boyfriend, Chris, was extremely smart and was great at cheerleading. She loved horses and music and went to the barn once a week to ride. Then one day, Erin, Leah and Chris were walking down the street in the city and Chris got brutally murdered. Erin and Leah saw the whole thing, but lucky got away before they got murdered. They called the police, but the police couldn’t find the men who murdered Chris. Erin’s life changed completely from that moment. She had dreams about him every night, but could never talk to him. Also, she swore she saw him sitting next to her at his funeral, but no one else did. Two years went by and Erin and Leah became seniors. It was only then that Erin started to move on with her life. She started going out more, but when she did she would ball her eyes out. She walked down that same street that he got murdered, but couldn’t go any farther. One night Chris started talking to Erin in her dream. She wanted to run up to him, but by the time she got to him, she woke up. The weird thing was that he was still there when she woke up. She got so freaked out that she turned on all the lights. He was still there. Day after day, she started seeing Chris. He would follow her everywhere. She was afraid to talk to him at first, but when he admitted how much he loved her, she gave in. Can Erin tell Leah about Chris and will she be able to move on with her life while Chris is still following her?
so what do you think? would you read it if it were a book?
