Ok, here's my situation. I don't know what's happening to me so if anyone is reading this & has had similar problems, please post.

On Monday I started with a sore throat ( didn't feel unusual.) By Tuesday morning I was in severe pain. I started taking parecetomol. They didn't do anything. But it did help the headaches I was getting, just not the throat pain. On Wednesday the throat was still very painful so I went to the dr. He gave me erythromycin, co-codamol, ibuprofen. I have taken all of these meds with no problems in the past. Thursday comes, still have the sore throat but I can feel it's not quite the same. Friday morning. Something happened. Developed a rash on my chest & neck. It started out as redness & then turned into this horrible rash. Went back to the dr. Told me to stop taking all the meds. My tongue was also weird looking ( she said it was a viral infection.)

I've went through everything in my mind to find out what could have caused this rash, which I still have.

None of those meds have never caused a problem.
I haven't changed my shampoo/conditioner.
Didn't eat anything different this week.
Didn't chance laundry detergent/fabric softener.

Has anyone else had a sore throat, headache, & a rash?

I feel you did the right thing going to the doc and also following up with the doc. Your doc stopped all your meds, doc may have thought the meds were causing allergic reaction to these combo of meds for you.

Viral infection just may need to take its course, hopefully you'll be all better soon. If not , you may need to follow up again with the doc since your doc is all familiar with what you may and may not take as far as your medications and all. Good for you seeing your doc and following up with your symptoms.

You can take a med for years with no problem, however, our body has a tolerance level and when that is reached, bam, you have an allergic reaction.

This happened to me recently. Seemed like it took forever for the rash to go away. Remember, the medicine is still in your system and the rash will not go away until the med is out of your system.

Going back to the dr tomorrow morning to see what she thinks. It's so ugly!! It looks like very bad acne ( but can acne develop overnight???)
