2 or 3 months ago, my best-friend and I went clubbing with these two girls. The cuter of the two girls was pretty into me, and it was kinda obvious. NEITHER of the girls was into him. My best-friend knew that I was going for her, or it at least should have been VERY VERY obvious to him. The whole night, my best-friend was (either conciously or sub-conciously) trying to better me. We were all standing in a line for a picture, and I was standing next to the girl that was into me. My best-friend came and barged in between us and was like "oh, sorry haha, did I barge in?" So I laughed it off. Next, we're all walking to the club, and he puts his arms around BOTH of the girls as he is walking and kinda leaves me walking awkwardly on the side of them. At the club, me and the girl were dancing and she was smiling at me all romantically and stuff. My best-friend (who is a much better dancer than me, and he knows it) decides to completely show me up by doing these crazy complex moves that 95% of the guys at the club cannot do. At the end of the night, the girl asked me to text her. But at that point I was pretty pissed and never texted her; I didn't want to me in a situation where it could put my relationship with my best-friend at stake. Now, however, he feels he has a chance with that girl, which is fine by me, I really don't care that much, I'm a VERY easy going guy and I let alot slide.
Lately though, I've been thinking back to that and questionning it. Shouldn't my BEST-FRIEND have the courtesy not to have done those things? I'm starting to get pissed off about it; I think I let too much stuff just slide. what do you think?
