aaww...this breaks my heart to read this question. Unfortunally I do not have a clue to re wire it. Every child should be able to to ride a powerwheel. I would contact the company, tell them how your child feels and is limited to fun because they will not make their product easy for all children in all different conditions..Who knows...this may be an eye opner and may consider in making a new product or improving it.
