Tumbling
I got so caught up with my living
That I fell off the end of the Earth
And I would have fallen forever, I tell you
If my wings hadn't of burst from my spine
And carried me through the night
As I went tumbling
The stars were below
The stones were overhead
And the moon went sailing by
And this is what she said
"Stones of the Earth, stones of the sea,
Bones of my body go rattling around in me
We're all coming from above
And falling into love
Salt of the Earth, salt of the sea,
Coursing through my veins
Sometimes pulls heavily on me
We all come from the stars
But we don't know what we are
So light up the night with your love,
Light up the night" She said
And I went on tumbling, and tumbling
Through the wide open sky
I got so caught up with my living
That I fell off the end of the Earth
And I would have fallen forever, I tell you
If my wings hadn't of burst from my spine
And carried me through the night
As I went tumbling
The stars were below
The stones were overhead
And the moon went sailing by
And this is what she said
"Stones of the Earth, stones of the sea,
Bones of my body go rattling around in me
We're all coming from above
And falling into love
Salt of the Earth, salt of the sea,
Coursing through my veins
Sometimes pulls heavily on me
We all come from the stars
But we don't know what we are
So light up the night with your love,
Light up the night" She said
And I went on tumbling, and tumbling
Through the wide open sky
