daughter for financial counseling? She and her boyfriend are head over heals in love and want to get married asap but they spend their weekly paychecks to zero each week. I have tried to get her to save money, but she doesn't. I saved up money for her college tuition but she dropped out and will go to beauty college because she can't concentrate on getting good grades due to her attachment to her boyfriend. (academic probation). She got good grades in high school. She needs to go to a third party that will put some sense into her.
 
An accountant would be best. Pay a fee for a analysis of her spending habits. Dad, realistically our children think we are really stupid. Not till they reach the age of 30, do they realize, we are quite intelligent.
I think if you have her follow the questions in this Finance category she will learn something. Such as how many young people are in debt, having their salaries garnishee, cars repossessed and being evicted, she might actually learn on her own. Time to let her sink or swim.
