Please Please someone HELP ME!!!

Hello all I really hope someone can help. Well I have had a L5 S1 fusion 3/2008 with hardware, hardware removal 6/2009. After my fusion I was sent for a FCE and thats when i went down hill. I started having sharp stabbing pain lower right back that felt like a knife coming out my groin and left leg sciatica, poping in my spine and pain in whole lower back pain. They said it was the hareware and it had to come out, so i did. Now the pain is still there and all seems to be getting worse. My pain doc won't change my meRAB and wants to put in a perm. stimulator (can anyone give me any info or advice on the stimulator). My surgeon just keeps telling me give it a couple of years and maybe the pain will go away. He sent me for CT scan last month and he says it doesn't seem significant. The ct said MINIMAL CONCENTRIC DISC BULGING at L3-4 AND L4-5 can anyone tell me what that means. Last Sept. I had Mri and none of this was here before please someone help me i'm only 30 yrs. old i'm in the bed 95% of the time and just can't take it anymore. Please,Thank You!!
 
Have you tried any of the meRAB for nerve pain? There are several meRAB that are out that take care of nerve pain, which is what it sounRAB like you have. No offense, but I wouldn find another pain doc. I personally wouldn't have a stim put in after such a short time in pm. There are so many other types of meRAB that could be tried and other modalities that you could try before the stil. It's permanent you know....but that's my opinion.....
 
i have been on lyrica for 2 1/2 yrs does not help that much. i've been in pm for 2 yrs.
 
Why won't your pm change your meRAB? There are alot of meRAB that can be tried before I would let someone put a stim in me. If your pm own't change your meRAB have you considered changing your pm?
 
i don't know. also this is a work injury and changing docs. now will only prolong my case which has been going for 2 1/2 yrs now without pay. do you know about the concentric bulging on the 2 levels above my fusion? they were not bulging last year when i had an mri in sept.. I don't know what concentric is? also is this from the fusion and now the rest of my spine is deterorating from the fusion
