i just got the audiovox 8900 wire and im trying to use it with my audiovox 8930 i wanna know the step by step to get it working and if its possible, it used to plug in fine then i did the #7678 code now everytime i plug it in it restarts please help iv been trying for a few hours pleasE!!
 
Do you have a data cable that charges your phone? If so, try for another one. Some 89xx series phones don't like USB cables that charge.
 
i think it charges, but im not sure when it plugs in when the phone is flipped open it restarts but when its closed its fine, i just cant get any of the programs to read the phone please help!
 
If you use a charging cable with your 89xx phone it will cause it to reboot as the charging cables are not designed for Audiovox phones and the power intake is different than the acceptable power intake designed for the phone.
Rumour has it that you can use QPST to access the 8930 while BitPim and Brewsky will not. I havent had a chance to test it yet. You can download QPST here:
