I NEED HELP ASAP. Someone, please anyone help me. My mother has been sick for over 4 years now and nobody can figure out what's wrong with her. She's been to over 30 doctors and has had over 50 tests done for anything you could think of. Every test she takes comes back good and shows that there's nothing wrong. My family has spend over $10,000 on doctor bills and still owe a couple thousand. It's heartbreaking to see her like this. Her symptoms are nausea, headaches, leg pain, she feels like she has a lump in her throat, she also says that she can feel fluid draining down her back and the right side of her body seems to be dryer than the other, she has bloating, she can only eat foods such as cookies, mashed potatoes, some chicken. She hasn't had a fruit or vegitable in over 4 years. She can't eat any peper because the little specs come back up in her mouth as well as steak and other types of meat: ham, turkey. She is unable to swallow foods as I mentioned which makes it really hard on her because she can't eat much at all. She also can't eat salad or anything along with it. I'm trying to find any sort of lead and get any help that I can get. It breaks my heart to see my mom like this. She gets mean spells where she can feel like she can kill somebody one minute and the text she's fine. Please anyone I'm asking for your help. Anything at all would mean so much to me. She's giving up hope and I don't really know what else to do. Not only am I asking, but my family as well we need your help and so does my mother. We are unable to keep spending thousands of dollars on doctor bills that are getting us nowhere. So please help us. Thank you very much.

The swallowing problem could be achalasia, you can look that up. The rest of it could be Fibromyalgia, do some research on those things and then take her to the doc and ask about them, but, be sure that the doc believes in Fibromyalgia, is he doesn't, then find another doc. I go to a Pain Management doc which has helped me immensely.

Her swallowing problem could be a spastic esophagus. Drinking a hot drink along with bites of food will help keep the esophagus relaxed.
Aches and pains could be due to inflammation in muscles and/or ligaments caused by arthritis or unknown.
Aches and pain could be due to Fibromyalgia, no known cause or cure for it. Most rheumatologist these days are familiar with this.
I have Fibro and find a large size vibrator used on my back before getting up in the morning helps to relieve pain and stiffness. I do not take meds for it other than Tylenol at night when needed to relieve misery long enough to go to sleep.
If she has Fibromyalgia, it will be necessary to accept it, learn to live with it, a real mental challange but it can be done.
I have had Fibromyalgia for over 50 years, longer than the medical profession has had a name for it.
