Please help with my U.S History question!?

Describe at least 5 justifications or defenses of slavery offered by antebellum white southerners.
I can't find the answer anywhere in my book! PLEASE HELP ME!
 
They believed it was the states' right to determine if slavery should be legal or not.
Idk if this would really count, but a great deal of the southern economy depended on slavery.
White Southerners didnt count blacks as people, or equals at least.

I should know more, but I cant think of much more off the top of my head.
