marked marrow edema throughout the head and neck of the right femur there is a small focus of linear hypointense signam in a subchondral along the superior/anterosuperior aspect of the fight femoral head this is concerning for a small focus of subchondral/insufficiency fracture, though an evolving focus of osteonecrosis is an additional consideration.
