I am 18 recent hs grad. I was looking into dental hygienist, x-ray tech, and ultrasound tech. But each have a 5 year min. waitlist where I live. So I decided to go for dental assistant, which has a one year waitlist. & eventually become a dental hygienist.
A few things which are holding me back
You have to be a resident of the county the comm. college is in. (NONE IN MY COUNTY) Which shouldn't be a problem because I can say that I live w/ my uncle. (who lives in that county) But you also need to have health insurance which I have until I am 19. I can't go full time because I only need to take two more prerequisites for my program. So when I change my address will I lose my health insurance? I should be getting into the program by 2010. I turn 19 May 2010. Idk what to do. My only other option is tech. school dental asst. Which will cost me so much. FAFSA says my parents make too much. So I have to take out a student loan, & pay it back plus interest.
What can I do? Please help Idk what to do anymore.
