Please help - plastic fantastic sports car?

Well you see i have this assignment that i have to do about a "Plastic Fantastic" sports car. I need to know what sort of price range a car that has a plastic body would cost. Also any special features that a plastic-bodied car would have is needed.
If you could help with this it would be greatly appreciated.
